Mitzner Meats is a family owned meat company based out of Wanatah, Indiana. They offer individually packed or custom bulk orders of beef and pork. Jeff and Andrea run the business on the family farm with their two children, Janelle and Jaye. The farm where the Mitzner Meats livestock is raised has been in our family for over 150 years.
While the kids were starting 4-H, they expressed interest in showing heifers. After showing two heifers at the state fair, their farm grew to now be close to 60 beef females in the operation ten years later. Today. 95% of the products that we sell are raised on our farm. Because of the high demand for our products, it is sometimes necessary to source meat from another local farmer. All meat that is sold with our label may not be raised on our farm, but it is cared for by another local family farm.
